Hi! I am Fleah (that is pronounced Flea-a but I don't have fleas). I am two years old, a rescue dog, and cute as a button. I am our official Bed and Breakfast greeter! It's my job to be the first one to welcome our guests (even while they are parking their car!). I like to jump up and try to kiss them. It's pretty hard to do but eventually the guests will come down to my level. I think I have the best idea how to welcome our guests, but Kriss and Dick feel otherwise, and eventually catch me and make me sit down quietly, wagging my tail, which leads to getting a great petting session anyway... my other goal. It's a win win situation so I can't complain. Most of our guests think I am really really cute and I mean really really cute! Some guests come over to the house just to visit with me. Some want to take me home with them! That's why I have my own blog now. =) Here's the story about these pictures. Please meet our Bed and Breakfast guests Anne and Tony. Anne and Tony flew all the way from Minnesota!! (If I fly I am going ask Kriss and Dick to get me classified as a support dog so I can fly in the plane, for free, like Fin my dog friend does!!) Tony booked our upstairs Nest Condo just so he could propose to his girlfriend Anne out beyond our house in the gorgeous blooming tulip fields. Tony said that tulips are Anne's favorite flower! They didn't invite me to come along (maybe they'll take me with them next year.) Who wouldn't want to be proposed to out in the tulip fields? There's all kinds of other dogs, probably mice and rabbits too, lots of people to greet... OH..and a great place to roll around in the mud. Tony and Anne didn't mention the mud or seeing any rabbits or mice ... but they did talk about the wonderful surprise wedding proposal that took place inside the fenced Roosengaarde gardens. Tony called and told Kriss the "big secret" on the phone one day. ( That was risky! Obviously he doesn't know her very well.) Good thing she didn't get to spend much time before hand with Anne or she might have spilled the beans ( I love Kriss and I also love beans!) Still Kriss did a good job and kept Tony's secret and helped Tony with a few details to make it the perfect day, the perfect moment, and the perfect proposal! Like I said earlier, the proposal event was at Roozengaarde (I think dogs are welcome there too aren't they?) on the one and only sunny day in April!! Kriss volunteered to come along and take pictures with her cell phone but Tony had a real photographer there to capture all the moments. I see from the photos they went to Deception Pass too! I love Deception Pass!! I always have to be on a leash there cause Kriss is afraid I am going to jump off the bridge or fall off a cliff. I think she is way too paranoid. I heard them tell Kriss and Dick that they ate at The Oyster Bar & Nel Thorn! Wow! They were lucky! That next morning they come over to say thank you for everything. I totally thought they might bring me some leftovers because they were going to Victoria Canada and you can't take your leftovers across the border with you. I would love to take a ferry boat ride somewhere. I think I need to get out more you guys! To sum it up, Tony and Anne looked very happy when they returned from their big proposal day. I am glad they will be coming back to celebrate their proposal in the future. Maybe they will read this and remember some of my good ideas for next time. Congrats!! FLEAH!
