Baby GG damaged the fence a few weeks ago by running into it head first and partially getting stuck half way thru it, and rule #1 for fencing is “Never Turn Your Fence Off”. After replacing the old batteries, making some quick line repairs, and a couple of weeks later, I am ready to try out the fence again on the goat, not sure how , but the first zap went to me! After a short recovery, and the fence standing and all repairs made (I thought) the goats trekked on in. So the goats are in the fenced area and GG immediately had to investigate her new digs so she started to put her nose thru the squares, then her head, then her little horns, and then by the power of Dejavu! got her head stuck again, and all this before I could turn the fence on. After three attempts at this farmyard circus, plus the fence wasn’t working anyway, I gave up and decided to call the fence company Monday and hopefully do some face time with him and see if he can help figure out what I still need to do to get the fence working! So if you want some tips on fixing your electric netting fence stay tuned till Monday.
